Experiment Design and Teaching Practice on Phosphotungstic Acid/Carbon Nitride Catalyzed Cyclohexanol to Cyclohexene
In order to improve the experimental innovation ability of students majoring in Organic Chemistry,a new and practical heterogeneous catalyst was designed to replace the traditional concentrated acid catalyst on the basis of the current Organic Chemistry experiment textbook preparation of cyclohexene. The green preparation of cyclohexene was improved through experiments, which met the development requirements of sustainable chemistry and undergraduate experimental teaching. The experimental design included the preparation of phosphotungstic acid/carbon nitride catalyst and the reaction of cyclohexanol dehydration to cyclohexene. At the same time, the structural characterization of the catalyst and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the product were designed. The development concepts such as green chemistry were introduced into the experimental teaching of undergraduates to improve students'ability to comprehensively analyze and solve practical problems, strengthen the integration of students'theory and practice, and lay a solid foundation for improving undergraduate organic chemistry experiment teaching.
