Research on the Integration Path of Teaching and Scientific Research in Undergraduate Colleges-taking Inorganic Chemistry as An Example
Inorganic Chemistry was the first professional basic course for majors such as Landscape Architecture,Pharmacy,Environmental Science,Life Sciences,Applied Chemistry, etc.Learning inorganic chemistry well is crucial for students'motivation and enthusiasm for subsequent learning. The teaching method currently used in inorganic chemistry puts students in a passive learning state. This leads to students not having the necessary exercise in their main learning ability, innovative practical ability, and ability to apply knowledge well.By designing innovative experiments during the teaching process,we aimed to enhance students'interest in inorganic chemistry courses and exercise their innovative thinking and hands-on abilities. The electrodeposition method was used to prepare PbO2 electrodes.Using PbO2 electrode as anode and Cu sheet as cathode, under the conditions that pH is 6.0,current density is 40 mA/cm2,concentration is 200 mg/L and electrode distance is 2.2 cm,the COD removal rate and decolorization rate could reach 87.4%and 99%,respectively.This experiment can further deepen the connection between theory and practice, and cultivate students'innovative practical abilities.
