On Establishing a Research Agenda for Public Security Science in the Context of Chinese-style Modernization
The Report to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China highlights the defining features and essential requirements of Chinese-style modernization,advocating for the advancement of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization.Against this backdrop,it is imperative for public security work and the research on public security science keep pace with the changing times.The establishment of a research agenda for public security science in the context of Chinese-style modernization should be guided and driven by the characteristics and essential requirements of Chinese-style modernization,while adhering to its fundamental principles.More efforts should be made to enrich the research content in public security science,consolidate its theoretical foundation,transform research methodologies,address evolving needs in public security practice,construct a discourse system for public security science,ultimately facilitating better service and support for Chinese-style modernization.
