The Value and Pathways of Integrating Traditional Chinese Cultural Heritage into Ideological and Political Education in Higher Education Institutions
The value concepts embedded within the traditional Chinese cultural heritage,as well as the view of the world,moral values and outlook on life which have developed based on this culture are excellent educational resources for ideological and political education in higher education institutions,which are conducive to nourishing and cultivating young students'socialist core values.Integrating traditional Chinese cultural heritage into the ideological and political education in higher education institutions can enhance the political guidance,value guidance,and cultural guidance of the classroom-based ideological and political teaching.That is,through the pathways such as comprehensive planning and design of course-based ideological and political education,increasing innovative classroom-based teaching,and expanding diversified social practice activities,the traditional Chinese cultural heritage can be integrated into the ideological and political education,thereby achieving the synergistic education for college students.
