CiteSpace-based Study on Management of Online Public Opinion Crises in the Field of Public Safety
With the development of information technology and the widespread popularity of social media,the emergence of online public opinion crises has become an issue that cannot be overlooked in the field of public safety.Based on the CiteSpace visualization software,this study conducts a detailed visual analysis of Chinese scholars'research on the management of online public opinion crises in the field of public safety over the past five years.Utilizing co-occurrence analysis,cluster analysis,time-zone map and emergence map of generated keywords,this study reveals the research hot spots,derivation paths,cutting-edge issues,and developmental trends in the field of public safety.It also discusses several notable deficiencies,such as narrow research horizons,monotonous research content,as well as the inadequate implementation of application.Additionally,this study explores primary directions for future research,including the specialization in the management of public opinion crises,the diversification of crisis management strategies,and the systematization of the research on public opinion crises.These efforts are intended to provide reference for advancing the high-quality development of research on management of online public opinion crises within the field of public safety in the new era.
