Exploring the Use of Constructivist Learning Theory in the Teaching Reform of the Interrogation Course
Interrogation course is one of the specialized courses offered by public security programs. While the teaching of this course presents unique difficulties,it also shares common challenges with other public security disciplines. To tackle these issues,it is crucial to rely on educational theories. The constructive learning theory holds that learning is a process in which learners actively construct or make their own knowledge upon the foundation of accrued experiences or previous learning. This theory helps rectify the shortcomings of traditional teaching, including learners'inflexibility in knowledge acquisition and their inability to make effective transfer in new contexts,so it will definitely play a guiding role in the teaching reform of this practice-oriented interrogation course.By reconstructing the teaching process, emphasizing the academic frontier of the discipline, transforming teaching methods, aligning with practical needs, and enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education, the teaching quality of interrogation course can be improved, and this approach will also provide reference for the teaching reform of other public security courses.
