Practice and Innovations of Public Security Authorities'New Quality Effectiveness from the Perspective of Governance on Police-related Public Opinions
In recent years,the negative police-related public opinions on the Internet have exerted considerable pressure on the law-enforcement practices of public security authorities,appreciably undermining the effects of their law enforcement.This paper meticulously analyzes the causes and features of such public opinions and summarizes the risks posed to the law enforcement efforts of public security authorities,which are mainly manifested by the decline in law enforcement authorities'dissemination capacity,influence,guidance power,and credibility on the Internet.Based on this,a set of strategic recommendations are proposed for helping public security authorities to mitigate the risks caused by such police-related public opinions.These strategies include enhancing public opinion steering,managing such scenarios in accordance with the law,strengthening social governance,and bolstering the role of the governance community in addressing police-related public opinions.These interventions are anticipated to improve public security authorities'governance of the risks brought about by negative public opinions,propel the modernization process of public opinion governance,hasten the modernization of policing work,and enhance the public security authorities'new quality effectiveness.
