Mechanism of Cortex Moutan-Radix Paeoniae Rubra in the treatment of Ka-wasaki disease based on network pharmacology
This paper explores the potential mechanism of the drug pair Cortex Moutan-Radix Paeoniae Rubra in the treatment of Kawasaki disease based on network pharmacology. The active ingredients and potential targets of Cortex Moutan-Radix Paeoniae Rubra were searched in TCMSP database, and the targets related to Kawasaki dis-ease were searched in GeneCards and OMIM databases. The intersecting targets of Cortex Moutan-Radix Paeoniae Rubra and Kawasaki disease were obtained through Venny mapping, and the PPI network of the intersecting targets was constructed by using STRING database and Cytoscape 3.7.2.R language was used for GO analysis and KEGG enrichment analysis.Molecular docking technology was used to evaluate the binding force of the main active compo-nents and the key targets.36 active ingredients,243 potential targets,1619 targets related to Kawasaki disease, and 100 active ingredients-disease common targets were obtained. The core targets in the PPI network were MYC,HIF1 A,AKT1,JUN,etc.GO function analysis obtained 1883 GOBP entries,40 GOCC entries, and 147 GOMF en-tries.KEGG pathway enrichment obtained 168 signaling pathways, and the targets were concentrated in the AGE-RAGE signaling pathway,IL-17 signaling pathway and TNF signaling pathway. The molecular docking results showed that quercetin and kaempferol had good binding ability to JUN,AKT1 and CASP3.In conclusion,Cortex Moutan-Radix Paeoniae Rubra might treat Kawasaki disease through multiple components, multiple targets, multiple pathways, and biological processes such as oxidative stimulation of cells and vascular endothelial growth factor.
