Effect of endogenous hormones on cutting propagation and stem tissue culture of Passiflora edulis Sims
By measuring the contents of IAA(indole acetic acid),ABA(abscisic acid),ZR(zeanoside),and GA(gibberellin)in different lignified panicle segments of Passiflora edulis Sims,as well as the survival rate of cutting propagation and the axillary bud germination rate of stem tissue culture, the effect of endogenous hormones content on cutting propagation and stem tissue culture was studied,so as to provide theoretical basis for scientific selection of propagation materials for cutting propagation and stem tissue culture of Passiflora edulis Sims. The results showed that the survival rate of cutting propagation of semi-lignified panicle segments was the highest;the contents of IAA and ZR were positively correlated with the survival rate of cutting propagation, while the contents of GA and ABA were negatively correlated with the survival rate.During the tissue culture of different lignified stem segments, the IAA/ABA value played a dominant role in the axillary bud germination rate. The higher the IAA/ABA value, the better the axillary bud germination. The axillary bud germination rate was the highest at the 5th to 8th segment from the most tender end of the semi-lignified branch.
