Methylation-sensitive Amplified Polymorphism and Its Application Prospect in Hereditary and Breeding of Rubber Trees
MSAP, a new technology based on restriction enzyme with the advantage of amplified section length polymorphism, has being widely applied in identification of plant germplasm resources, variety improvement, apparent genetic diversify analysis of germplasm resources, gene expression adjustment, forecast and utilization of heterosis, trans-gene silent, population apparent genetic construction analysis and environment adaptability. The paper reviews the principle, basic process and evaluation of MSAP, and the importance in hereditary and breeding of rubber trees, and forecasts its application prospects.
