The genetic diversity of 48 glutinous maize inbred lines and the genetic relationship between these lines were analyzed by the SSR molecular marker and total DNA extraction method. 23 pairs of stable SSR primers with the amplification band pattern were amplified from 45 pairs of SSR primers of samples. 141 alleles were detected from 48 tested inbred lines and 2~4 alleles with average 5.48 alleles were detected from a pair of primer. The polymorphism information content and mean polymorphism information content of each SSR primer was 0.43~0.89 and 0.66. The results from UPGMA clustering analysis showed that the genetic distance between tested lines was 0.26~0.72 and its mean value was 0.49.48 The glutinous maize inbred lines can be divided into six groups, which can provide a reference for its breeding.
