Biological Character Observation and Insecticide Screening of Drosophila melanogaster on Cherry
A test of pesticide effectiveness was conducted in 2010 to know the biochemical characteristics of D. Melanogaster and high efficient insecticides. The results showed that D. Melanogaster had preference to the eight kinds of fruits with proliferation. Female adult D. Melanogaster laid eggs under the fruit surface and they did harm to the fruits after incubation. Under the temperatures of (18+2)℃ and (23±2)℃: egg stage 2. 4~3. 0 d, 1. 2~1. 8 d; larval stage 11. 2~ 12.2 d, 5.6~6. 5 d;papal stage 9. 5~10. 6 d,5. 0~6. 2 d;one generation 23. 1~25. 4 d,12. 8~14. 2 d. Four insecticides(including 1% emamectin benzoate EC of 3 000 times, 90% trichlorfon of 1 000 times, 40% phoxim EC of 1 500 times and 25% buprofezin WP of 2 000 times) had higher pesticide effects on D. Melanogaster with mortalities of 85. 00% ~ 100. 00%, 96. 67% ~ 100% and 100% after sprayed for 1 h, 3 h and 6 h respectively.
