The Diversity, Existing Problems and Countermeasures of Orchid Plants in Guizhou
The field investigation, specimen collection and identification and relevant literature collection were conducted to protect orchid plant resource in Guizhou. The results showed that there were 280 orchid plant species belonging to 84 genera in Guizhou. There were three genera with more than 20 species, including Cymbidium (24 species), Dendrobium(23 species) and Caianthe (21species). There were three genera with 10-19 species, which were Habenaria (16 species), Liparis (18 species) and Bulbophyllumdi species). There were five genera with 5~9 species, 32 genera with 2 - 4 species and 41 genera with one species. Meanwhile, factors affecting orchid plants were reviewed and countermeasures to protect orchid plant resources were proposed.
