In order to provide a herbalism evidence for research and development of A.oxyphylla.By consulting ancient and modern herbology,local flora and relevant literatures,the authors verified the name of A.oxyphylla,its plant morphology,producing area,growth environment and sexual flavour efficacy to provide references for clinical application,development and utilization of A.oxyphylla.It made clear that A.oxyphylla was named after the medicinal part.It also made further acquaintance of plant morphological characteristics,materials of origin and practical applications of A.oxyphylla.
