Present Situation Investigation and Development Proposals of the Cervus nippon Industry in Yunnan Province
C.nippon is a precious medicinal animal endemic to China,it is endangered in the wild while now it is artificially bred in large scale.C.nippon has a treasurable body and high velvet yield,so it is of sky-high edible value and medicinal value;Most parts of Yunnan Province are suitable for breeding C.nippon,and are of the advantages of high velvet quality,low labor cost and facing to the Southeast Asia.Consequently Yunan Province has a broad industrial development prospect of C.nippon.In order to preferably develop C.nippon industry in Yunnan Province,the current status,industrial advantages and existing problems of C.nippon industry in Yunnan Province were summarized by means of questionnaire and field investigation,and development suggestions were proposed as well from aspects of industry cultivation,product processing,establishing market system and constructing scientific and technical support system.
