The results of the fourth Chinese Medicinal Resources Survey and the Rare, Endangered and Endemic Plant Resources Survey in Guizhou are analyzed to explore the distribution situation of Orchidaceaein Guizhou.Result:6 Orchidaceae species of Eulophia zollingeri (Rchb.f.) J.J.Smith, Amitostigma pinguicula (Rchb.f.et S.Moore)Schltr.,Oreorchis fargesii Finet, Gastrochilus guangtungensis Z.H.Tsi, Zeuxine nervosa (Lindl.)Trimen and Phaius mishmensis (Lindl.et Paxt.) Rchb.f.are newly distributed in Guizhou.The morphological characteristics,growth and habitat of 6 Orchidaceae species show that Orchidaceae geographical region components with complexity and diversity have the important practical significance to master and protect Orchidaceae diversity in karst area.
