Study on Photosynthetic Characteristics of Four Fresh Jujube Varieties(Lines)in Southern Xinjiang
[Objective]The summer photosynthetic performance and differences of four fresh jujube varieties(lines)in southern Xinjiang were studied,so as to provide theoretical basis for the breeding and wide application of fresh jujube varieties(lines).[Method]Using Dongzao,Panzao,XLCZ and Fucuimi as test materials, the photosynthetic pigment, diurnal variation trend of photosynthesis, and characteristic parameters of photosynthetic rate and light response curve were measured, and the photosynthetic characteristics of four fresh jujube varieties(lines)were compared and analyzed.[Result]The daily average net photosynthetic rate(Pn)of four fresh jujube varieties(lines)was 4.21µmol/(m2·s)(Dongzao),5.74 µmol/(m2·s)(Panzao),6.02µmol/(m2·s)(XLCZ)and 3.41µmol/(m2·s)(Fucuimi),respectively.The daily variation of net photosynthetic rate of XLCZ and Panzao both showed a typical single peak curve, without the phenomenon of"midday rest".Dongzao and Fucuimi exhibited a distinct bimodal pattern. The response curves of four fresh jujube varieties(lines)to photosynthetically active radiation were basically consistent. The net photosynthetic rate increased with the increase of photosynthetically active radiation. When the light intensity reached the saturation point, the change in the net photosynthetic rate growth curve tended to be gentle. The light compensation point was XLCZ>Fucuimi>Dongzao>Panzao, and the light saturation point was XLCZ>Fucuimi>Panzao>Dongzao. The four fresh jujube varieties(lines)all showed higher water use efficiency in the morning than in the afternoon, with Dongzao>Fucuimi>Panzao>XLCZ.[Conclusion]Four jujube varieties(lines)all have relatively strong light adaptability in Aksu region of Xinjiang.Dongzao and Panzao have relatively better shade tolerance and can utilize weak light better, while Fucuimi can utilize strong light better.
