Effects of the Post-processing Technique on Recovery Rate of Viable Bacteria of Bacillus coagulans for Feeding
[Objective]It aimed to study the development of recovery rate of viable bacteria of Bacillus coagulans for feeding during processing and storage after fermentation, which provided the scientific basis for reducing the cost of large-scale production.[Method]Taking the B.coagulans for feeding,W-02,as the study object, the centrifugal concentration process, drying method, smashing time and the viable bacterial before and after cryopreservation time during processing and storage after fermentation, and the total recovery rates of viable bacteria were counted.[Result]The average recovery rate of viable bacteria of B.coagulans was 91.57%after centrifugal concentration by 4 000 r/min for 15 min.The recovery rate of viable bacteria in dry B.coagulans was 92.98%by vacuum freeze-drying at-58℃and 100 mT.The recovery rate of viable bacteria in crushed B.coagulans was 83.37%through the smashing process at 24 000 r/min and 15 seconds. The recovery rate of viable bacteria of B.coagulans was 71.21%as stored at 4℃for 365 d.[Conclusion]After centrifugal concentration, sorption drying,high-speed crushing, the total recovery rate of viable bacteria of B.coagulans for feeding(the product of viable bacteria at each stage)is 50.55%as stored for 365 d with low temperature.
