Effects of Applying Different Organic Fertilizers on the Growth,Yield and Quality of Cigar
[Objective]The effects of applying different organic fertilizers on the growth,yield and quality of cigars were studied to provide a reference for the rational application of organic fertilizers and setting the industry standards of the chemical composition of high-quality cigars.[Method]Using Yunxue 39 as the experimental material,the effects of conventional fertilization(CK),conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal(A1),conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal(A2)and conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake(A3)on the agronomic traits,leaf thickness,fresh leaf yield and coordination of conventional chemical components of cigar tobacco were studied.[Result]Different organic fertilizer treatments had different influence on the growth and development of cigar tobacco.The plant height was 86.67-136.22 cm.The conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal treatment was significantly lower than CK with 26.06%.The conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal and conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake fertilizer treatment were significantly higher than CK with 16.21%and 9.01%,respectively.The stem circumference was 6.83-7.42 cm.The conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal treatment was significantly lower than CK by 5.66%,and there was no significant difference between other treatments.The leaf length ranged from 47.19 cm to 53.49 cm.Compared with CK,conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal and conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal treatments significantly decreased by 11.78%and 6.15%,respectively.There was no significant difference between conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake treatment and CK.There was no significant difference in leaf width and effective leaf number among treatments.There was no significant difference in leaf thickness of upper leaves of tobacco plants under different treatments.The thickness of the middle and lower leaves of the tobacco plant treated with conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake fertilizer was significantly lower than that of CK with 9.0%and 8.7%,respectively,and there was no significant difference between the other treatments,and the leaf thickness of the middle and lower leaves was A1>CK>A2>A3.The yield of fresh leaves was 1 120.28-13 572.10 kg/hm2,followed by conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal>conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake fertilizer>CK>conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal.The comprehensive scores of agronomic traits and conventional chemical composition coordination of cigar tobacco were conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake fertilizer(2.80 points,82.48 points)>conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal(1.23 points,81.63 points)>CK(-0.75 points,81.11 points)>conventional fertilization+200 g/plant soybean meal(-2.42 points,77.74 points).[Conclusion]Conventional fertilization+200 g/plant sesame cake fertilizer and conventional fertilization+200 g/plant cottonseed meal are beneficial to promote the growth and development of cigar tobacco,increase the yield of fresh leaves,and improve the coordination of conventional chemical components of tobacco leaves,which can be popularized and applied in flue-cured tobacco production.
