Effects of Konjac-buckwheat Intercropping System on Field Weed Community
[Objective]The impacts of intercropping buckwheat in konjac field on the weed community structure were clarified to provide a reference for the ecological control of weed in field.[Method]The test was carried out in the konjac planting base in Mazha Town of Weining Yi Hui and Miao Autonomous County.Taking monoculture konjac system as the control, the konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment was set up.The indexes of types, quantities, fresh weight and its coverage of weeds in konjac field intercropping with buckwheat were determined to study the impacts of intercropping buckwheat in konjac field on weed community structure and its control effect on weeds.[Result]There were 9 families and 12 species field weeds of konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment, including 3 Asteraceae,2 Poaceae,1 each of Chenopodiaceae,Commelinaceae,Scrophulariaceae,Araceae,Oxalidaceae,Rubiaceae and Caryophyllaceae.Comparing with monoculture konjac system, the field weed of konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment decreased by 5 families and 11 species. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index,Simpon diversity index and Pielou evenness index of field weeds were reduced by 0.602 8,0.3963 and 0.075 3,respectively.The important values of Taraxacum mongolicum,Crassocephalum crepidioides and Digitaria sanguinalis in konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment decreased compared to the monoculture konjac treatment, while the important values of weeds such as(Eleusine indica and Commelina communis increased. The density control effect and fresh weight control effect of konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment were 83.35%and 86.44%,respectively.[Conclusion]Konjac-buckwheat intercropping treatment can change the weed community structure and has a good inhibitory effect on weeds in field.
