Xi Jinping's Thought on Global Ecological Governance
Since the new era,Xi Jinping has issued a series of important speeches and instructions on global ecological governance,which constitute an important part of his ecological civilization ideology.Firstly,regarding international responsibility for global ecological governance,the international community needs to establish a value system of"harmonious coexistence between humans and nature"and effectively address increasing global ecological issues to"explore sustainable development paths and governance models for humanity".Secondly,in terms of modernizing the global ecological environment governance system and capacity,China should set and implement overall goals and strategic practices as a good example.Furthermore,China strives to play a leading role in global ecological governance by achieving comprehensive green transformation and moving towards a new era of ecological civilization.Finally,China must work with countries along the Belt and Road to jointly create a green Belt and Road,promoting ecological governance and development by fostering green transformation and sustainable development of the global economy and building a security governance model with Asian characteristics.
