Research on Social Work Intervention in Urban Retired Elderly Social Participation from the Perspective of Active Aging—A Case Study of G Community in S City
In response to the growing number of urban retirees,maximizing their potential for active social participation is a pressing issue.A survey revealed poor conditions for social participation among the elderly in G Community,S City,coupled with inadequate awareness and motivation for social engagement.To address these challenges,social work is introduced from an active aging perspective.This approach aims to unlock the potential of urban retirees individually,enhancing their capacity for social participation.At the community level,efforts focus on establishing a social support network and creating platforms for social engagement.Additionally,at the societal level,conditions conducive to urban retirees'social participation are fostered,aiming to boost their motivation and enable them to contribute actively to society.This initiative aims to achieve the goal of"old people have something to do"and"old people have something to enjoy",encouraging urban retirees to contribute meaningfully to societal harmony.
