Integrated Development of Open Universities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area:Current situation,Basis and Path Study
As an important part of the coordinated development of open higher education in the Bay Area and a key component of the civilian,popular,and lifelong education system,open universities should take the initiative to accelerate the process of integrated development.This paper reviews the timeliness and urgency of the integrated development of open universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and analyzes the practical foundation for this development.Based on this,three optimization strategies are explored:(1)clarifying the value orientation of integrated development for open universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area;(2)establishing a coordination mechanism for the integrated development of open universities in the region;(3)creating a shared platform for integrated development to gradually promote the integration of open universities in the Greater Bay Area.
