An Analysis on the Practice of PBL Model-based Museum-School Cooperative Teaching Design and Teaching Competition
This paper aims to explore the teaching design and practice process of the"Ancient Architecture Restoration"course,cooperatively conducted by museums and schools based on the PBL model,and to evaluate its effects.The study takes the"Ancient Architecture Restoration"course as the teaching foundation and introduces the actual restoration project of the Lingying Archway in Zushen Temple,Foshan,as the context.It adopts an action-oriented approach to construct a"construction site classroom"by dividing the restoration task into different stages:"feeling,testing,analyzing,restoring,and inheriting."This structure helps achieve the teaching goal of"ancient methods,new restoration."On this basis,the study fully leverages the task resources of museum-based learning and improves the evaluation system.The project,titled"Eave Restoration:Ancient Methods,New Techniques,"ultimately won the first prize in the 2023 National Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition.This paper reviews and analyzes the process of implementing the PBL museum-based learning cooperation model,aiming to provide a useful reference for similar teaching implementations and practical events.
