The Inevitable Path to High-Quality Development of School Physical Education in the New Era
The high-quality development of school physical education is a crucial component in accelerating educational modernization and building a strong educational and sports nation in the new era.Based on the interpretation of 25 policy documents related to physical education,and taking the requirements of nation-building,educational modernization,and the integration of five-dimensional education as the starting point,this study comprehensively analyzes the inevitable path to the high-quality development of school physical education.The aim is to fully grasp the requirements and directions for the development of school physical education and to truly implement physical and mental health as the breakthrough point to strengthen the integration of five-dimensional education.The research suggests that the first step for the high-quality development of school physical education in the new era is to elevate its position and deeply understand its significant strategic role in the process of Chinese-style modernization.Building on this,collaboration among multiple parties is needed to promote the comprehensive development of school physical education;facing the future,attention should be paid to the integrated development across all educational stages;deepening reforms to promote all-round development inside and outside the classroom;taking precise measures to enhance the high-quality development of physical education teachers;adapting to needs,promoting the three-dimensional development of school sports venues;simultaneously breaking and establishing to deepen the reform of school sports evaluation;and strengthening educational science research to lead the scientific advancement of school physical education.Through comprehensive policies and multiple measures,the high-quality development of school physical education can be achieved,thereby truly leveraging its unique function in educating students through physical activities.
