Ultimate is a novel sport in China that integrates leisure and competition.Currently,Ultimate in China faces issues such as non-standard management,unclear development direction,lack of competitions,and insufficient market development.In response to these issues,this study employs literature review and logical analysis to elucidate the development process of Ultimate in the United States,systematically and comprehensively discusses its development experience,and proposes insights for the development of Ultimate in China.The research indicates that the development experience of Ultimate in the United States is primarily reflected in the establishment of a national Ultimate Sports Association recognized by the World Flying Disc Federation and the United States Olympic Committee;the creation of multi-level,numerous,and influential Ultimate events;the introduction of referees into professional leagues to officiate matches;and the market-oriented and commercial operation of Ultimate to attract social commercial capital sponsorship.
