During this period, there were many poets and collections of Tao's poems, and which were also produced in the late Ming Dynasty. Many poetry critics have given a high evaluation of the literary and artistic value of Tao's poems. There are roughly three reasons for investigating the collection of pottery by later literati scholars : worshiping pottery and imitating pottery, borrowing pottery to contain annals, and collecting pottery to improve skills.
