Structural sensitivity study and numerical analysis of glass fiber-reinforced flexible pipes
Aimed at solving the problems of high quality and easy corrosion and aging of traditional steel pipes in offshore oil and gas exploitation,a new type of flexible pipe with low quality and high strength and corrosion re-sistance is urgently needed. In the report, the glass fiber reinforced flexible pipe was selected for research.Based on the theory of composite laminates,a theoretical model of glass fiber reinforced flexible pipe was con-structed,ABAQUS was used to construct the finite element model of the pipeline. After the accuracy of the mod-el was verified with the relative literatures, the stress effects of winding angle on the pipe under five load condi-tions,tension,compression,bending,tensile-bending,and compression-bending were analyzed, and the influ-ence of the number of winding layers of the reinforcement layer on the stress of the pipeline under tensile condi-tions was also analyzed. The results showed that the flexible pipe reinforcement layer is the main bearing struc-ture of the pipeline.Based on the simulation results of five working conditions, the optimal winding angle of the flexible pipe reinforcement layer was(±45 °)~(±55 °),and when the number of winding layers of the reinforce-ment layer was 4~16 layers, the bearing capacity of the flexible pipe was greatly improved, and after more than 16 layers, the bearing capacity was not significantly improved.
