Gremlin-1在骨关节炎中的研究进展

Gremlin-1是一种骨形态发生蛋白(BMP)拮抗剂,通过与受体直接结合并抑制BMP信号传导而发挥作用,其中BMP参与了骨骼组织正常发育以及维持体内平衡的过程,据研究显示,由Gremlin-1抑制BMP蛋白在骨关节炎(OA)的发生、发展中有着极大的意义,如今,有许多学者研究发现Gremlin-1与OA的进展有密切的联系,值得注意的是,Gremlin-1还参与了相关信号通路干扰间充质干细胞的细胞活力以及介导成骨细胞分化的过程,致使OA的进一步恶化。因此本文主要从Gremlin-1基因出发,探讨与OA的关系以及介导的相关信号通路抑制骨形成过程而影响OA进展做一综述。
Research progress of Gremlin-1 in osteoarthritis
Gremlin-1 is a bone morphogenetic protein(BMP)antagonist,by directly binding to the receptor and inhibiting BMP signaling and functioning,in which BMP is involved in the normal development of bone tissue and the process of maintaining homeostasis,according to studies,Gremlin-1 inhibition of BMP protein in osteoarthritis(OA)occurrence,development has great significance,nowadays,many scholars have found that Gremlin-1 and OA progression is closely related,Notably,Gremlin-1 is al-so involved in the process of interfering with the cell viability of mesenchymal stem cells and mediating osteoblast differentiation by related signaling pathways,leading to further deterioration of OA.Therefore,this article mainly starts from Gremlin-1 gene,dis-cusses the relationship with OA and mediates related signaling pathways,inhibits the process of bone formation and affects the progress of OA.
