Differential expression of serum proteome on hypertensive patients with or without Sjogren's syndrome
Objective:To explore the differential expression of serum proteins in hypertensive patients with Sjogren's syn-drome and essential hypertensive patients without Sjogren's syndrome,to explore the possible pathogenesis of the syndrome among hypertensive patients. Methods:Serum samples from 8 hypertensive patients with Sjogren's syndrome and 8 hypertensive patients were collected respectively. The differentially expressed proteins in the serum of the two groups of patients were detected based on data independent acquisition mass spectrometry technology, and then these differentially expressed proteins were ana-lyzed using GO and KEGG.Proteins were analyzed bioinformatically. The STRINT database was used to construct PPI,cyto-scape for modular analysis, and selection of key proteins. Results:This study found 35 differential proteins.GO analysis showed that most of the differential proteins were mainly located in the extracellular region. The molecular functions of related differentially expressed proteins were mainly concentrated in the process of antigen binding and serine endopeptidase activity.KEGG enrichment analysis showed that relevant differential proteins were significantly enriched in complement and coagulation cascade, systemic lu-pus erythematosus, and prion diseases.Among the core modules obtained through the MCODE plug-in of cytoscape software,VWF,A2M,and F9 were significantly enriched in the complement and coagulation cascades, and their differential expression was more significant. Conclusion:This study found 35 differentially expressed proteins, among which VWF,A2M and F9 may play an important role in Sjögren's syndrome in hypertensive people.
