OBJECTIVE To analyse the use and development trend of Proton Pump Inhibitors(PPIs)in a hos-pital of Zhangzhou from 2020 to 2022,so as to provide reference for clinical rational use of drugs.METHODS The consumption sum,defined daily doses(DDDs),defined daily cost(DDC),and drug sequence ratio(B/A)in our hospital from 2020 to 2022 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS The overall consumption sum of PPIs showed a downward trend year by year.DDDs of Pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets,Omeprazole eenteric-coated cap-sules and Rabeprazole sodium enteric-coated tablets were in the top three places.In three consecutive years,DDC of Eprazole enteric coated tablets for three consecutive years was the highest,while B/A was the lowest.Meanwhile,Omeprazole enteric coated capsules had the lowest DDC,with both B/A greater than 1.CONCLUSION The clini-cal use of PPIs in our hospital is basically reasonable,but efficacy and cost should be taken into account,while the clinical management and application of PPIs should be standardized and improved.
