Research on the Role of Internet Plus Pharmaceutical Care in Improving the Rationality and Safety of Drug Use in Patients with Hypertension
OBJECTIVE To explore the role of Internet plus pharmaceutical services in improving the rationali-ty and safety of drug use in patients with hypertension,and to open up a new way to improve the effectiveness of phar-maceutical services and promote rational drug use.METHODS 120 hypertensive patients in our outpatient depart-ment were selected and randomly divided into a study group and a control group,with 60 patients in each group.The control group received medication guidance at the outpatient pharmacy dispensing window.The study group,on the basis of the control group,guided the patients with medication through telemedicine equipment,WeChat,Tiktok,Kwai and so on 1 week,1-2 weeks,2 weeks-1 month,1-3 months,3-6 months after outpatient treatment,and recorded the blood pressure and adverse drug reactions of the two groups of patients,and recorded the medication adherence of the patients through self-made questionnaires.The medication adherence,blood pressure control and adverse drug reac-tions of the two groups were compared.RESULTS There was significant difference in medication adherence be-tween the two groups at 1 week,2 weeks,1 month,3 months and 6 months after the outpatient treatment(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the rate of reaching target value of blood pressure between the two groups at l week after the visit(P>0.05),but there was a statistically significant difference at 2 weeks,1 month,3 months,and 6 months(P<0.01);There was a statistically significant difference in the incidence of ADR between the two groups of patients at 6 months after treatment(P<0.01).CONCLUSION Intemet plus pharmaceutical service has improved the medication adherence of hypertension patients,the rate of blood pressure reaching the stand-ard,reduced the incidence of ADR,and played a positive role.
