Effect of Oral Pregabalin on Acute Pain after Pulmonary Wedge Resec-tion:A Retrospective Cohort Study
OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic effect of pregabalin on acute pain after wedge-shaped resection of lung.METHODS The patients who underwent wedge-shaped resection of lung cancer from 2018 to 2020 were collected and divided into two groups, the pregabalin group and the non pregabalin group according to whether or not pregabalin was used. After selecting the appropriate cases with propensity score of 1∶1,the efficacy of pregabalin and the use of opioids and non steroids in the two groups were statistically analyzed.RESULTS A total of 186 patients were included in this study,93 cases in each group.Compared with the non pregabalin group, the NRS score of pregabalin group at 24 h and 48 h after operation decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the use of opioids between the two groups(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in the total DDDs of opioids and NSAIDs between the two groups(P>0.05);There was no significant difference in the total hospitalization expenses between the two groups(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Af-ter operation, oral administration of 75 mg pregabalin twice a day can relieve the pain after pulmonary wedge resection.
