Popular Science Intervention and Effect Evaluation of Drug Use in Osteo-porosis Patients
OBJECTIVE To compare the effects of popular science intervention on osteoporosis(OP)patients, and to form a popular science intervention method and resources aiming at promoting clinical efficacy.METHODS To formulate a scientific intervention program for OP patients.Clinical indicators such as MPR,bone mineral density, biochemical markers of bone turnover, bone specific alkaline phosphatase(BALP)and cross-linked C-terminal pep-tide of type I collagen(CTX-I),and incidence of fragile fracture were selected as evaluation basis. The effect of sci-entific intervention on OP was evaluated by comparing with control group.RESULTS The MPR value of the popu-lar science intervention group was(0.87±0.56),(0.75±0.32),(0.68±0.32)at 12,24 and 48 weeks after treatment, and the medication compliance was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05);the BMD value and T value of the popular science intervention group were(0.738±0.081)g/cm2 and(-2.534±0.539),respectively,which were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);the BALP and β-CTX of the popular science intervention group were(21.082±8.112)μg·L-1 and(0.959±0.412)μg·L-1,(18.349±8.128)μg·L-1 and(0.741±0.409)μg·L-1,(16.368±9.011)μg·L-1 and(0.627±0.401)μg·L-1 at 12,24 and 48 weeks after treatment, respectively. The incidence of brittle fracture in the popular science intervention group was 5.3%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION Scientific intervention on medication for op patients can greatly improve their compliance with medication, effectively improve the effect of medication, and improve the quality of life of patients.
