Rational Evaluation of Anticoagulant Drugs for Prevention and Treatment of Postoperative Venous Thromboembolism in Gynecological Malignant Tumors
OBJECTIVE To investigate the status of postoperative use of anticoagulant drugs to prevent venous thromboembolism in patients with gynecological malignant tumors, and to evaluate the rationality of their drug use.METHODS A retrospective research method was used to collect and count the basic information,Caprini risk assessment scale,VTE preventive measures, and anticoagulant drug use of 270 patients with malignant tumors admit-ted to the gynecology department of a tertiary general hospital from January to December 2021.The rationality of the use of anticoagulant drugs was evaluated according to the evaluation criteria.RESULTS Among 270 surgical pa-tients with gynecological malignant tumors,221 patients used anticoagulant drugs to prevent the occurrence of postop-erative VTE,and the total preventive drug rate was 81.85%.For irrational drug use,the irrational rate was 95.02%.There were a total of 596 cases of irrational problems, which were mainly manifested in 185 cases(31.04%)of ex-cessive drug dosage,206 cases(34.56%)of improper drug timing, and 205 cases(34.40%)of insufficient drug course.CONCLUSION There are many unreasonable situations in the use of anticoagulant drugs to prevent post-operative VTE in patients with gynecological malignancies. It is necessary to actively take appropriate anticoagulant preventive measures to estimate the risk of VTE based on an appropriate risk assessment model.
