Data Analysis and Visualization of Centralized Procurement of Drugs Based on FineBI
OBJECTIVE To monitor the centralized procurement of drugs with intuitive charts by using the vi-sualization tool FineBI software,and the monitoring report can be used as a reference for decision-making in pharma-ceutical department.METHODS The raw purchasing and sales data of drugs derived from the hospital system were processed by using the PivotTable and functions of Excel,then the data were processed with FineBI to form a visual chart according to the needs of drug management.RESULTS The study produced several reports such as progress inquiry,purchase and sales details,pharmacological action distribution,use of drugs with the same approved drug name,and alternative drug monitoring.These reports could be shared and linked on computer and mobile termi-nals.CONCLUSION FineBI software is able to make high-standard,digital,visual reports for the centralized pro-curement of drugs.It is helpful for pharmacists to carry out data analysis of the centralized procurement of drugs.
