Determination of Sodium Bisulfite in Carbazochrome Sodium Sulfonate by HPLC
OBJECTIVE An HPLC method for the determination of sodium bisulfite in carbazochrome sodium sulfonate was established.METHODS The separation was performed on the Kromasil 100-5-C8(150×4.6 mm,5 μm)and detected by a DAD detector.The mobile phase was consisted of 0.01 mol·L-1 monopotassium phosphate(pH was adjusted to 3.0 with phosphoric acid)and acetonitrile with gradient elution.RESULTS The results showed that the established method meets the requirements in terms of applicability,specificity,precision,accuracy,and durability.A good linearity was observed over the range of 5%~200%.CONCLUSION The method is simple and accurate,and can be used for the determination of sodium bisulfite in carbazochrome sodium sulfonate.
