Effect of Pharmaceutical Intervention on the Therapeutic Effect of Outpa-tients with Type 2 Diabetes
OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of pharmaceutical intervention on the therapeutic effect of outpa-tients with type 2 diabetes.METHODS A total of 200 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected from the outpatient clinic of the second people's Hospital of Bengbu from December 2021 to April 2022,including 109 males and 81 females,aged from 39 to 80(58.9±5.0)years.The patients were randomly divided into intervention group(n =100)and control group(n = 100).The control group took routine medical services to guide the use of drugs.Pharmaceutical intervention was carried out in the intervention group,including publicity of disease knowl-edge,medication guidance and regular follow-up.During the follow-up of 12 months,the control of FPG,2h PG,HbAlc,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure and BMI of type 2 diabetes were compared between the two groups.To evaluate the understanding of relevant knowledge and the improvement of medication compliance between the two groups.RESULTS There was no significant difference in baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05).During the follow-up of 12 months,FPG,2h PG,HbAlc,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure and BMI in both groups were lower than those before treatment.Compared with the control group,the intervention group was bet-ter than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of dia-betes cognition questionnaire and medication compliance in the two groups were improved,but there were significant differences between the intervention group and before the intervention(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the control group and before the intervention(P>0.05).CONCLUSION Pharmacist interven-tion in patients with type 2 diabetes can help strengthen patients'awareness of the disease and rational drug use,and improve drug compliance.It can not only ensure the safety and effectiveness of patients,but also enhance the role and value of pharmacists.
