OBJECTIVE To promote the digital upgrading of the pharmaceutical industry and strengthen drug supervision,put forward requirements for the digital upgrading of drug quality and safety,accurately grasp the direc-tion of professional upgrading,and provide a basis for professional digital upgrading.METHODS 15 pharmaceutical enterprises in Fujian Province were investigated by conducting surveys,interviews and expert guidance meet-ings.RESULTS 120 surveys were distributed and 110 valid surveys were collected.QC/QA positions in the phar-maceutical industry are in short supply,and the relevant knowledge and ability are unable to meet the requirements of the current digital conditions.CONCLUSION Under the condition of digital upgrading of pharmaceutical industry,the major of drug quality and safety should grasp the opportunity to carry out research,strengthen cooperation and co-operate in education.The major should also establish a robust mechanism for professional development and operation,leverage teachers'initiative,and foster innovative approaches in the construction of practical training bases.
