Analysis of the Use of Psychotropic Drugs in the Second Category in the Outpatient Department of a Third-class Hospital in Xinjiang
OBJECTIVE To investigate the application of Second Class of Psychotropic Drugs,and to provide reference for reasonable usage in clinic.METHODS The second class of psychotropic drugs in outpatient depart-ment of our hospital during 2020-2022 were analyzed retrospectively in respects of the number of common drugs pre-scription,distribution of gender/age,DDDs,DUI,DDC and B/A.RESULTS During 2020-2022the drugs with high use frequency were alprazolam,zolopidem tartrate,clonazepam,accounting for 80.14%of total prescription amount of second class of psychotropic drugs.The proportion of male to female was 1∶1.41;the patients aged 51-70 years old took up the biggest proportion,accounting for 41.69%.DUI of second class of psychotropic drugs was less than 1.0,and zolpidem tartrate tablets had the highest sales amount for three consecutive years.DDC value was stable,the lar-gest was paracetamol oxycodone,and the smallest was alprazolam.The highest B/A value was alprazolam tartrate and the lowest was zolpidem.CONCLUSION The use of second class of psychotropic drugs in the outpatient depart-ment of our hospital is reasonable and should continue to be implemented in accordance with relevant laws and regu-lations to avoid the abuse of second class of psychotropic drugs in the outpatient population.
