Effects of JiaWei SiShen Soup on the Growth and Development of Acryl-amide-induced Zebrafish Embryos
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of JiaWei SiShen Soup on growth and development through the study of its inhibitory effect on oxidative stress injury in zebrafish embryos.METHODS Zebrafish at 7-9 hpf af-ter fertilization were randomly divided into a blank control group,a model group,and three garnished SiShen Tang-treated groups(at concentrations of 1.34 mg·mL-1,0.592 mg·mL-1,and 0.1974 mg·mL-1,respectively),and were exposed to 5 mmol·L-1 acrylamide(AA)solution,and then intervened with JiaWei Sishen Soup to observe and recorded various growth parameters of 24 hpf zebrafish embryos.RESULTS AA exposure caused pericardial e-dema and spinal curvature,resulting in hatching disorders and delayed yolk sac absorption.After the intervention of JiaWei SiShen Soup,the zebrafish embryos were improved with malformations and developed well in all growth pa-rameters.Under the effect of the concentration of 0.592 mg·mL-1 and 1.34 mg·mL-1 of JiaWei SiShen Soup,the 1 body length of the juvenile fish was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05 or 0.01),which indicated that the JiaWei SiShen Soup had an inhibitory effect on the oxidative stress damage of zebrafish embryos in-duced by AA.CONCLUSION JiaWei SiShen Soup has a better promotion effect on the growth and development of zebrafish.
