OBJECTIVE To develop a method for determination content of cinnabaris in WaWaNing.METHODS The amount of concentrated sulfuric acid and nitrate of potash was optimized.Specificity,precision,ac-curacy,linearity and stability were investigated.The content of cinnabaris of nine batches of samples was deter-mined.RESULTS The detection method have good specificity,precision and high recovery.The average recovery was 94.4%(RSD=0.9%).CONCLUSION The method has been validated and could be applied to the quality control of WaWaNing.
