Analysis on the Use of Narcotic Drugs in Outpatient and Emergency De-partment of One Hospital from 2020 to 2022
OBJECTIVE To understand the use of narcotic drugs in out patient and emergency department of our hospital from 2020 to 2022,to further standardize the clinical application and management of narcotic drugs in our hospital,and to provide reference for the rational use of narcotic drugs in our hospital.METHODS From 2020 to 2022,the types of use of anesthetics in outpatient and emergency departments of our hospital were collected.The data of the use of anesthetics in outpatient and emergency departments from 2020 to 2022 were collected by computer management system.The total amount of drugs used,the amount of money sold,the number of times used,the fre-quency of drug use(DDDs),the limited daily cost(DDC)and the ranking ratio of drugs(B≤A)were analyzed retrospectively.RESULTS Seven kinds of intravenous and emergency anesthetics were collected,including hydroxycodone controlled release tablets(10 mg),morphine sulfate sustained release tablets(30 mg),morphine hy-drochloric acid tablets(5 mg),methadone hydrochloric acid tablets(10 mg),fentanyl transdermal patch(2.5 mg),pethidine hydrochloric acid injection(100 mg)and morphine hydrochloric acid injection(10 mg).During the past three years,the use and sales amount of narcotic drugs in our hospital and emergency department showed an upward trend,but due to the influence of the epidemic situation,it also fluctuated during the period.CONCLUSION Nar-cotic drug use in outpatient and emergency department of our hospital is reasonable,but we still need to strengthen the supervision of pharmacists to ensure further safe,standardized and rational use of narcotic drugs.
