Study on Inhibition Effect of Calcium Oxalate Stone and Antioxidant Activi-ty by the Different Extract from Alysicarpus vaginalis(L.)DC.in vitro
OBJECTIVE To study the inhibitory and antioxidant activity of different extracts from Alysicarpus vaginalis(L.)DC on calcium oxalate stones.METHODS Scanning electron microscope,X-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, nanometer particle size analyzer and other methods were used to characterize the cal-cium oxalate crystals formed by adding different extracts of Alternaria pedunculata L;Using vitamin C as a control, study the clearance rate of hydroxyl radicals by different extracts from Alysicarpus vaginalis(L.)DC.RESULTS The calcium oxalate crystals formed by adding different extracts from Alysicarpus vaginalis(L.)DC were mostly in the form of quadrangular pyramids, mainly in the form of COD crystals;By XRD and FT-IR analysis, the percentage con-tent of COD was higher than that of the standard calcium oxalate;By measuring the Zeta potential on the crystal sur-face,as the COD content increases, the absolute value of the Zeta potential increases and the dispersion of the crystal increases.Compared with the positive control Vc,different extracts of Scutellaria japonica have the ability to scavenge hydroxyl radicals(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The different extracts from Alysicarpus vaginalis(L.)DC not only inhibit the nucleation of calcium oxalate crystals and induce the growth of COD,but also have antioxidant effects, which is conducive to inhibiting the formation of calcium oxalate stones.
