Investigation and Analysis on the Public's Cognition and Behavioral Inten-tion of Adverse Drug Reactions Based on WeChat Platform
OBJECTIVE To provide reference for exploring and improving the public's awareness of and re-sponse to adverse drug reactions.METHODS The self-designed questionnaire is distributed in the form of a ques-tionnaire star through the Internet WeChat platform.The questionnaire is filled in and statistically ana-lyzed.RESULTS A total of 2117 valid questionnaires were collected.90.84%of the respondents paid more atten-tion to ADR,70.15%of the respondents thought that ADR was caused by the property of the drug itself,only 13.18%of respondents have reported ADRs;77.94%of the respondents knew ADR of the drug they were taking through the instructions,42.51%of the respondents had inappropriate disposal methods after ADR occurred;70.24%of the respondents were willing to acquire relevant knowledge of ADR.The first and second places that the public wanted to know about ADR were"how to reduce or avoid the occurrence of ADR"and"what should be done after the occurrence of ADR",respectively.The top two ways for the public to obtain knowledge about ADR are"popular science articles on network platform"and"popular science videos on network platform".CONCLUSION The public generally pay more attention to drug safety and have a strong willingness to acquire ADR knowledge,but the understanding and cognition of ADR need to be further improved.We should continue to establish and im-prove the public reporting mechanism,make full use of the Internet,strengthen science popularization and education,and improve the public's understanding,identification and processing ability of ADR,as well as the awareness of ac-tive reporting.
