Mechanism of Bupleurum-Scutellaria in Treatment of Functional Dyspep-sia and Depression Based on Network Pharmacology
OBJECTIVE To explore the mechanism of Bupleurum-Scutellaria in treating functional dyspepsia and depression with the method of network pharmacology.METHODS The active compounds and targets of Bup-leurum-Scutellaria were obtained through TCMSP and SuperPred. The targets of functional dyspepsia and depression were obtained from Genecards Database and OMIM database, and the targets of Bupleurum-Scutellaria for treating de-pression and functional dyspepsia were also obtained.Cytoscape 3.9.1 software and String database were used to con-structe"drug pair-active component-common target"and PPI network to find out the key targets and core compo-nents;the common targets were analyzed by KEGG pathway enrichment analysis and GO enrichment analysis, and AutoDock software was used for molecular docking.RESULTS A total of 53 active components of Bupleurum-Scutellaria and 93 common targets in the treatment of functional dyspepsia and depression were collected.2091 GO functional items and 135 KEGG pathways were obtained by KEGG pathway analysis and GO enrichment analysis. The main biological pathways include HIF-1 signaling pathway and endocrine resistance pathway, etc. Finally, the results of molecular docking show that there is a strong affinity between the key active components and the targe.CONCLUSION The results showed that Bupleurum-Scutellaria might play the role of"Treating different dis-eases together"by regulating inflammatory reaction and improving gastrointestinal function.
