Analysis of 352 Reports of New and Serious Adverse Drug Reactions in a Maternal and Child Health Hospital
OBJECTIVE 352 cases of new/serious adverse reactions occurred in Maternal and Child Health Hospital from 2019 to 2023 were analyzed to make up for the lag of instructions and provide references for safe drug use for patients.METHODS New/serious drug adverse reaction reports from a maternal and child health hospital between 2019 and 2023 were retrospectively collected through the national Adverse drug reaction monitoring sys-tem.RESULTS A total of 352 certified new/serious ADR reports were reported,the patients were(31.80±15.95)years old,mainly female(310 cases,88.07%),the main route of administration was oral(138 cases,39.20%),and the organ-system involved was mainly digestive system(27.02%).Most of the manifestations were nausea,vomiting,belching,diarrhea,gas and abdominal pain,followed by skin and subcutaneous tissue,manifested as rash,pruritus and skin flushing.CONCLUSION Clinicians and pharmacists should pay close attention to new/seri-ous ADRs during drug use,and take appropriate countermeasures to ensure drug safety.
