Quality Status and Analysis of Lasiosphaera Calvatia and its Decoction Pieces
OBJECTIVE To identify and evaluate the authenticity and quality of the traditional Chinese medici-nal material,Lasiosphaera Calvatia and its decoction pieces from multiple aspects such as properties,identification,examination,and extracts,in order to understand the quality status of the Lasiosphaera Calvatia market,analyze the causes of non-conforming items,and find solutions to these problems.METHODS 36 batches of Lasiosphaera Cal-vatia samples were analyzed according to the 2020 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.RESULTS There are sig-nificant quality issues in the Lasiosphaera Calvatia market.Among the 36 batches of the Lasiosphaera Calvatia and its decoction pieces,23 batches were found to be substandard,7 of which were counterfeit and 8 of which were adultera-ted products,with a pass rate of only 36.1％.The primary reason for the non-conformity was the mixture of genuine and falsified products,characterized by their appearance,microscopic identification,total ash content,and acid-insol-uble ash content.CONCLUSION There are serious quality problems in the medicinal materials and decoction pieces of Lasiosphaera Calvatia,mainly due to adulteration and excessive ash content,indicating the need for strengthening focused control in these areas.It is recommended to standardize the process of harvesting,processing,and preparation procedures of Lasiosphaera Calvatia and to strengthen the supervision of standard implementation to ensure the safety and effectiveness of Lasiosphaera Calvatia.
