OBJECTIVE To explore the application of MDT in the practice of dealing with foreign bodies in ve-nous transfusion caused by complex reasons.METHODS The cases of complicated foreign bodies in venous trans-fusion in the 2023 of our hospital from August to September were studied,set up an MDT team,used the MDT work-ing method,gived full play to the advantages of multidisciplinary cooperation,to carry out the practice of dealing with transfusion foreign body incident and optimize the procedure of dealing with venous transfusion foreign body.RESULTS The Standard Operating Procedure was established by using MDT method in practice,it was help-ful to find the causes of the incident accurately and make the treatment plan quickly,change the past single,direc-tional,unable to deal with complex issues of the management model,achieved good results of practical applica-tion.CONCLUSION The MDT played an active and effective role in dealing with foreign body events caused by intravenous infusion,it was helpful to find out the real cause quickly,make corresponding measures and solve practi-cal problems,it was suitable for use in the management of infusion safety events.
