Analysis of Drug Use in the Treatment of Hyperuricemia and Gout in a Hospital
OBJECTIVE To investigate the irrational drug use in the treatment of hyperuricemia and gout,and to provide reference for rational drug use in clinic.METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed on 681 elec-tronic prescriptions for hyperuricemia or gout from January to December 2022.Patient's general information,depart-ment,diagnosis,drug categories,and other relevant data were recorded and processed using EXCEL soft-ware.RESULTS A total of 681 prescriptions were collected,and 179 prescriptions were found to be unreasonable(26.28％),among which 145 prescriptions(20.56％)were unsuitable for indication,21 prescriptions(3.08％)were unsuitable for combination therapy,and 18 prescription(2.64％)were not suitable for use.CONCLUSION The rational drug use in our hospital for the treatment of Hyperuricemia and gout is not high.The hospital should strengthen the professional training of doctors and strictly enforce the system of pharmacists'prescription examina-tion,so as to promote rational drug use in clinic.
